Ultracompact stars with polynomial complexity by gravitational decoupling

چکیده
In this work we construct an ultracompact star configuration in the framework of Gravitational Decoupling by Minimal Geometric Deformation approach. We use complexity factor as a complementary condition to close system differential equations. It is shown that for polynomial resulting solution can be matched with two different modified-vacuum geometries.

Gravitational lensing by stars with angular momentum
Gravitational lensing by spinning stars, approximated as homogeneous spheres, is discussed in the weak field limit. Dragging of inertial frames, induced by angular momentum of the deflector, breaks spherical symmetry. I examine how the gravito-magnetic field affects image positions, caustics and critical curves. Distortion in microlensinginduced light curves is also considered.
متن کاملOn the oscillation spectra of ultracompact stars: An extensive survey of gravitational-wave modes
An extensive survey of gravitational-wave modes for uniform density stars is presented. The study covers stars ranging in compactness from R/M = 100 to the limit of stability in general relativity: R/M = 9/4. We establish that polar and axial gravitational-wave modes exist for all these stellar models. Moreover, there are two distinct families of both axial and polar modes. We discuss the physi...
متن کاملGravitational lensing by rotating stars
The equations giving the position of the images of a point source by a rotating point lens are derived by a new, elementary method. It is shown that only two of the three images are visible. It is argued that the projection of the angular momentum of the lens star on the lens plane can be measured if the lens is a rapidly rotating early type star. This is achieved by performing a series of astr...

Let f(x) = f(x1, . . . , xn) = ∑ |S|≤k aS ∏ i∈S xi be an n-variate real multilinear polynomial of degree at most k, where S ⊆ [n] = {1, 2, . . . , n}. For its one-block decoupled version,
متن کاملGravitational Microlensing by the Globular Cluster Stars
The microlensing of background stars by compact objects in globular clusters is analyzed. The main strength of the proposed search is the direct relationship between the lens mass and the time scale of the microlensing event. The main problem is the low overall rate of expected events which implies that a ground based search should last for about a decade to generate a non trivial number of eve...
